Information and Broadcasting Minister M Venkaiah Naidu has said, BJP government will never appease any religious group as the party treats all religions equally.
Addressing party workers in Vijayawada yesterday after a victory rally, Mr Naidu said, BJP’s excellent performance in the recently held Assembly polls in five states was a ratification of good governance. He said, there were no major allegations of corruption during the BJP rule in three years.
He said, the BJP government is trying to deliver good governance since it came to power. Mr Naidu said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had been trying to root out corruption in the country and BJP is committed to fulfilling the election promises it had made to the people.
The Minister also assured that the Centre will abide by its promises made to Andhra Pradesh on sanction of funds as per the State Reorganisation Act. He said, the country needs Modi’s rule for 10 years to establish good governance, alleviate poverty and reduce economic inequalities.
