BJP core group met at the residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi this evening. The political situation in the country is understood to have been discussed at the meeting.
Senior Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley, M Venkaiah Naidu and Nitin Gadkari and BJP President Amit Shah attended.
The meeting came hours after the Supreme Court ordered restoring of criminal conspiracy charges against top BJP leaders L K Advani, M M Joshi and Uma Bharti in the Babri Masjid demolition case.
