Trustee of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Bill Gates today met Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi.
Singh appreciated various welfare works being undertaken by the foundation in India and urged Mr. Gates to initiate health awareness programmes.
He also suggested that the foundation should concentrate on developing villages and make them Model Villages.
Bill Gates also explained about the various technologies being adopted by them in the field of agriculture and sanitation.
He assured Home Minister that the foundation will offer constructive support to India.
