In Jammu and Kashmir, an Army jawan was martyred, two civilians including a minor boy were killed while over a dozen persons including two security personnel were injured as Pakistan’s forces continued heavy mortar shelling along the International Border and Line of Control in Jammu region for the third consecutive day today.
Intermittent exchange of mortar shelling is still continuing at some places along the international border in Jammu district and Mankote sector along the LoC in Poonch. BSF and Army troops have been giving befitting reply to the shelling from across the borders.Since this afternoon, there is no report of any fresh causality or injury to the Indian side so far.
