
Army Chief General Bipin Rawat has called upon the youth of the country to come forward, become integral part of the Indian Army and serve the nation as well as fellow countrymen.
Speaking at a function in Ludhiana, the Army Chief said, collective efforts are required for making India a number one country. He said, the country’s culture, heritage and values are priceless and everybody should take them forward.
During the function, an MoU was signed between the Nehru Sidhant Kendra Trust and Indian Army under which 100 annual scholarships would be provided to the wards of those soldiers who laid down their lives in the service of the nation.
