
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said, all countries should be on one page on matters related to disaster management and its prevention.
Inaugurating the 13th Foundation Day of National Disaster Management Authority, NDMA, in New Delhi, Mr Singh said, diplomatic efforts are needed to deal with floods. He said hydrological data of rivers should be shared between all nations in this regard.
The Home Minister praised the good work done by NDMA. He said, it is playing crucial role in disaster management and disaster reduction. Mr Singh said, NDMA has improved its system to deal with cyclone and has increased its disaster management capabilities.
