Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today said Aadhaar is totally safe and details about individuals are completely secured. Mr Prasad was reacting to the alleged leak of Aadhaar details of former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Talking to media outside Parliament, Mr Prasad assured Mr Dhoni that his details are safe and secured. He said he has also directed CSC e-governance services India Limited to maintain privacy of Aadhaar card holders while assuring the wife of Mr Dhoni, who had expressed displeasure in public about the alleged leak, of strict action.
