President Pranab Mukherjee will arrive in Kanchipuram on a day-long visit to Tamil Nadu today. His special aircraft will land at the naval airbase INS Rajali in Arakkonam. After accepting the tri-forces guard of honor there, he will go to Kanchipuram by road. Mr Mukherjee will offer special prayers at the Kanchi Kamatchi temple.
He will also meet the Kanchi seers Jayandra Saraswati and Vijayendra Saraswati at Kanchi Mutt before winding up his tour.
