Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi has said, her ministry intends to bring an amendment to the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act asking for death penalty for rape on children below 12 years of age.
In a video message, Mrs Gandhi said she is deeply disturbed by the rape incident of a minor in Kathua.
