Smriti Irani rejects Rahul Gandhi’s allegation of users’ data being shared through NaMo App with foreign companies

Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani today said commonly asked permission on Apps does not tantamount to snooping. She was reacting to Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s allegation that data of users is being shared through Narendra Modi App with foreign companies.

In a tweet, Ms Irani took a dig at Mr Gandhi, saying, at least, he now knows about the NCC due to Narendra Modi App. She said the Congress President must explain why his party sends data to Singapore Servers which can be accessed by anyone.
