
Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba will be on a five day visit to India from 23rd of this month.
In a release, the External Affairs Ministry said today that this is Mr Deuba’s first visit abroad after assuming the office of Prime Minister of Nepal in June this year. A high-level delegation will accompany the Nepalese Prime Minister.
During his stay in India, the visiting dignitary will call-on the President and Vice President of India and will hold talks with the Prime Minister. The External Affairs Minister and other Ministers will call on the Prime Minister of Nepal.
Apart from official engagements in New Delhi, the Prime Minister of Nepal will visit Hyderabad, Tirupati and Bodh Gaya.
Our correspondent reports that the upcoming visit will provide an opportunity to both the sides for holding wide-ranging discussions on issues of mutual interest, and advancing age old, special ties of friendship between the two countries. In recent years, India-Nepal partnership has witnessed significant growth in all areas of cooperation.
