Pakistan again resorts to unprovoked firing in J&K’s Poonch district

In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani forces today again resorted to unprovoked heavy firing and shelling along the Line of Control in Poonch district. Defence spokesperson informed that the forces from across the Line of Control started firing and shelling targeting Indian positions and civilian areas in Krishna Ghati sector around 6 this morning.

The spokesperson said, the troops guarding the borderline retaliated and gave a befitting reply to the Pakistani shelling.

The exchange of fire continued till this afternoon.There is no report of any causality or injury from the Indian side so far.

Yesterday an armyman was martyred while a woman was killed in Pakistani firing in same Poonch district.
