The Delhi High Court today sought the Centre’s response on a plea for a court-monitored probe by the CBI-led SIT into the death of Sunanda Pushkar.

The plea was filed by BJP leader Subramanian Swamy, who said inordinate delay has been caused in the investigation. The court said, it needs to hear the Ministry of Home Affairs, CBI and the Delhi Police on the plea. Sunanda Pushkar, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor’s wife, was found dead in a hotel in Delhi in January, 2014.
