National Nature Test Campaign” First Phase: Chhattisgarh Secures Third Position in the Country

Raipur, March 26

The first phase of the “National Nature Test” campaign under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, and the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, New Delhi, concluded with a ceremony in Mumbai. The event was held at the Jahangir Bhabha Theatre in Mumbai, with the central AYUSH Minister (Independent Charge), Mr. Prataprao Jadhav, as the chief guest.

Chhattisgarh secured third place nationwide for its strike rate target in the first phase of the campaign, and the state was awarded a certificate and trophy. The award was received by Dr. Sanjay Shukla, the state coordinator of the campaign and Registrar of the Chhattisgarh Ayurvedic, Unani & Natural Medicine Council, Raipur.

Health Minister Mr. Shyam Bihari Jaiswal had launched the campaign in Chhattisgarh on Constitution Day, November 26, 2024. The campaign concluded on December 25, 2024, on the birthday of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, in Kunkuri, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai. Over 4.5 lakh citizens in Chhattisgarh underwent the nature test under the direction of the Directorate of AYUSH Chhattisgarh. In view of the campaign’s significance, the Ministry of Home Affairs facilitated nature tests for more than 40,000 officers and personnel of various Central Armed Police Forces deployed in the state.

Upon receiving this honor, Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai and Health Minister Mr. Shyam Bihari Jaiswal congratulated the health officials. Mr. Jaiswal stated that receiving an award at the national level was a significant achievement for Chhattisgarh. He congratulated the officials and staff, urging them to continue working diligently and with integrity for the welfare of the people of the state.
