Value chain development

Strategies based on modern technologies

The workshop will witness the participation of delegates from the states of Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana, Odisha, Haryana, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh.

Notably, Mr. Shailesh Kumar Singh, Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, and Mr. S.C.L. Das, Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, will also address the participants through video conferencing and provide valuable guidance.

Throughout the workshop, various sessions will delve into topics such as utilization of local resources, women’s training, financial inclusion, and business promotion. An exhibition showcasing products made by self-help groups formed under the livelihood mission will also be organized, helping these groups gain greater market exposure.

Mrs. Jayashree Jain, Director, Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihoods Mission, stated that all preparations for the workshop have been completed. She expressed confidence that the event will further inspire women leadership in rural development. This workshop, she emphasized, is not just a platform for dialogue but also a foundation for concrete future strategies aimed at empowering millions of women to become “Lakhpati Didis”.
