MoU Signed Between Technical Education Department and CSRBox Foundation, CII Young Indians, and Apnatech Private Limited in Presence of Deputy CM Sharma

Raipur, January 18

With the aim of providing new opportunities for employment and skill development to the youth of Chhattisgarh, Secretary of the Department of Skill Development, Technical Education, and Employment, Shri S Bharathidasan, signed an MoU with CSRBox Foundation, CII Young Indians, and Apnatech Private Limited in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma and Forest and Skill Development Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap at the Shaheed Smarak Auditorium, Raipur.

On this occasion, Director of Technical Education and Employment Shri Rituraj Raghuvanshi, Vice President of Apnatech Private Limited Dr. Preet Singh, Vice President of CSRBox Foundation Shri Mano Viraj Singh, Vice President and Chairman of CII Young Indians Shri Gaurav Agarwal, along with other officers, employees, and students from various institutions were present.

On the occasion of the agreement execution ceremony, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma said that the Chhattisgarh government is fully committed to providing skill development and employment opportunities to the youth. He said that this agreement will prove to be a milestone in shaping the future of Chhattisgarh’s youth. Our goal is not only to provide jobs to the youth but also to provide them with such skills that they can become self-reliant and achieve new heights in their field. The government will ensure that every student, whether from ITI, engineering college or polytechnic, has a proper job opportunity. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma also clarified that the data of students registered for employment will be completely secure and will only be used in the interest of the state. He assured that whatever services will be provided under the agreement will be ensured with complete transparency and quality.

Appealing to the youth to register on the CG Employment Portal, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma said that our goal is that every youth gets the right direction according to his or her ability and qualification. The government will make every possible effort to fulfill the dreams of the youth. With partners like Apnatech Private Limited, CSRBox, and CII Young Indians, a new era of employment and skill development is beginning in the state. IBM will provide free-of-cost certification courses which will be available in ITIs, engineering and polytechnic colleges of the state. Through this course, students will be trained according to global standards and the goal is to ensure employment for at least 10% of the students. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma said that youth can bring about big changes if they want. He said that innovation starts with just an idea. We need to motivate our youth to not only create what is already in the market but to develop new products and solutions that are useful to society. A small thought can be turned into a big goal only through success. With this agreement, the government has made a new beginning in the field of skill development and employment, which will take the youth of the state towards a brighter future.

Forest and Skill Development Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap said on this occasion that the youth of Chhattisgarh have immense potential, but they need the right guidance and opportunities. This agreement will ensure that even the youth from rural and remote areas can join the mainstream and showcase their abilities. He said that the Chhattisgarh government wants to empower the youth and make them self-reliant.
