Most of PM Modi’s guarantees fulfilled within year: CM Sai

Raipur, December 3
We have transferred the tenth installment of Rs 1000 as a token of affection to the accounts of our 70 lakh mothers and sisters under the Mahatari Vandana Yojana today. The blessings of our mothers and sisters give me the strength to work. The pride that shines in the eyes of our mothers and sisters is our greatest satisfaction. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said this while addressing a gathering held on the occasion of the inauguration and groundbreaking of development works worth around 137 crores in Raigarh district. On this occasion, at the request of Chief Minister Shri Sai, Saraswati Yadav transferred an amount of Rs 652 crores to 70 lakh women of the state as the 10th installment of the Mahatari Vandana Yojana by pressing a button.
In his address, Chief Minister Shri Sai, referring to the village of Dansara in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district, said that the mothers and sisters here thought that a grand temple of Lord Ramlala had been built in Ayodhya Dham. We too should build a temple of Ramlala next to the Hanuman temple in the village. These women started the construction of the temple by donating from the amount received from the Mahatari Vandana Yojana. There are countless stories of the dreams of mothers and sisters and their fulfillment. I often ask mothers and sisters about this and every time their words touch my heart.
The Chief Minister said that yesterday I met the toppers of the PSC exam in Raipur. There was a gleam of confidence in the eyes of those youth. They told me that their faith was broken due to irregularities in the PSC exam but when our government came, we worked for transparency in the PSC exam. Corruption in a competitive exam not only ruins the future of a talented youth but also eats away at the structure of the civil service. We gave the responsibility to the CBI to investigate the corruption and then their confidence returned. Today, we have also performed the groundbreaking of the Nalanda campus to be built with an amount of Rs 42 crore 56 lakh, which will greatly benefit the youth preparing for PSC and other competitive exams. We are starting libraries like Nalanda of the capital Raipur in 13 urban local bodies of the state. There will be a collection of thousands of books here. There will be Wi-Fi facility. Youth preparing for all kinds of competitive exams will get study material here.
The Chief Minister said that in the year 2047, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has set a target of building a developed India. We have also created a vision document to build a developed Chhattisgarh by 2047. The vision document emphasizes the rapid industrialization of the state. We have made a new industrial policy for the rapid development of industries. Due to this, entrepreneurs in Chhattisgarh will find it very convenient to start new ventures. Connectivity is the first condition for improving the industrial environment. In the next two years, our state’s road network will be comparable to that of any developed country. Sarguja and Bastar have got air connectivity. The way the infrastructure has been worked on in the railways in a decade, in the future, not only will the passengers be facilitated, but the movement of freight will also become very easy, which is most important for increasing business.
The Chief Minister said that it is the time of paddy procurement. Our government has also taken full care of the prosperity of the farmers. We are buying paddy at Rs 3100 per quintal and Rs 21 per quintal. Last time we had purchased a record 145 lakh metric tonnes of paddy. This time the target is 160 lakh metric tonnes of paddy. One year of our government is about to be completed. The very next day after taking the oath, we had approved 18 lakh houses and since then the process of fulfilling Modi ji’s guarantee has continued uninterrupted and now we have fulfilled most of Modi ji’s guaranteed promises within a year.
