Memories of Lord Ram are deeply rooted in every particle of Chhattisgarh: Sai

Raipur, December 26
Our government is continuously working for the happiness and prosperity of the people. Through the purchase of paddy at Rs. 3100 per quintal and 21 quintals per acre, farmers have become prosperous. Through the Mahatari Vandana Yojana, we are giving an installment of Rs. 1000 per month to 70 lakh mothers and sisters every month. We are going to start the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme for a trip to the major pilgrimage sites of the country. Through this scheme, pilgrims will also get a free pilgrimage.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said this while addressing the Parvatdan (Anna) and Ashwamedha Yagna Mahotsav organized at Gram Timarlaga in Sarangarh Bilhaigarh district.
Addressing the Parvatdan and Ashwamedha Yagna Mahotsav at Gram Timarlaga, Chief Minister Sai said that whenever big religious events are organized, the entire surrounding area is immersed in devotion. Chhattisgarh is the maternal home of Lord Shri Ram. This is the land where Lord Shri Ram spent most of his exile. In the holy land of Chhattisgarh, Maa Shabri had fed Lord Ram wild berries in Shivrinarayan. Our Chhattisgarh land is very holy land. The ashram of Valmiki Ji is in Turturiya. The Valmiki ashram is the same land where Luv and Kush captured the horse of the Ashwamedha Yagna. The memories of Lord Ram are deeply rooted in every particle of Chhattisgarh. We are continuously working to preserve the memories of Lord Shri Ram.
Chief Minister Sai said that we are also working to connect the five Shaktipeeths of the state. We have also started the re-organization of the Kumbh Mela in Rajim, the city of Triveni Sangam.
