The health of mothers and children will form the cornerstone of Chhattisgarh’s progress and prosperity. Ensuring their well-being is a top priority for the welfare-oriented government of the state.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized this while inaugurating the ‘Healthy Mothers, Healthy Children’ campaign under the IIT Bombay-Jashpur Nutrition Mission at the Chief Minister’s camp office in Bagia, Jashpur district.
The campaign aims to improve the nutritional levels of pregnant women and children in Jashpur. Jointly run by the Health Department and the Women and Child Development Department, the initiative will train over 9,500 healthcare and Anganwadi workers through online nutrition training provided by IIT Bombay. Additionally, more than 300 master trainers will offer continuous training to field workers in the district from both departments.
