Making Road Transport and Traffic Safe and Smooth is Our Top Priority: CM Sai

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai stated that the government’s topmost priority is to ensure road transport and traffic are safe and seamless. With the deployment of 48 new vehicles to the transport flying squad, there will certainly be a reduction in accidents, smoother traffic flow, and increased public awareness about traffic rules. The Chief Minister made these remarks during a program held at his residence office. On this occasion, he handed over the keys of the vehicles to the inspectors of the Transport Department.

CM Sai emphasized the state government’s strong commitment to making road traffic safer and more efficient. With the help of these new government vehicles, the transport flying squad will be able to take swift action against those violating traffic rules. He said this initiative will be a milestone in enhancing the efficiency of the flying squads, reducing road accidents, improving the enforcement of safety standards, and maintaining discipline in the traffic system. It will also help expand the monitoring and reach of transport squads to remote areas.

Appeal to Follow Traffic Rules

Chief Minister Sai urged people to wear helmets and seat belts, and to follow traffic rules to protect not only their own lives but also the lives of others. He emphasized that public participation is essential to building a safe, disciplined, and sensitive road environment. He also appealed to people not to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Present at the event were MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, Chairman of the Civil Supplies Corporation Shri Sanjay Srivastava, Secretary and Transport Commissioner Shri S. Prakash, Additional Transport Commissioner Shri D. Ravishankar, and several other officers and staff of the Transport Department.
