Environment Minister Anil Madhav Dave has passed away early this morning in New Delhi. 60-year-old Dave complained of uneasiness at his home this morning and was rushed to AIIMS where he breathed his last. He was a member of the Rajya Sabha since 2009.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief on his sudden demise. Modi said, Dave will be remembered as a devoted public servant and his demise is a personal loss. The Prime Minister said, he was tremendously passionate towards conserving the environment.
Information and Broadcasting Minister M Venkaiah Naidu has also expressed his grief on the demise of Dave. Naidu said, he was shocked and extremely sad to know the sudden demise of his colleague. Home Minister Rajnath Singh has also expressed his grief and said, Dave was very active and sensitive to issues pertaining to environment and his dedication to work was highly appreciated.
