
In Madhya Pradesh, seven persons were killed and two suffered critical burns after an explosion in a cracker shop triggered a blaze in Indore yesterday. The fire, which started in afternoon yesterday at a cracker shop, spread to the nearby area of a cramped lane in Ranipura area.
As per reports, District Collector P Narhari has said that a magisterial inquiry has been ordered in the incident. A quick fightback by shopkeepers and local residents, and the recent innovation of firemen on motorcycles prevented a bigger disaster.
MY Hospital burn unit in-charge Dr Arvind Ghanghoria told that all the injured have suffered grade-IV burns, where even the bones get damaged so the death toll could raise. District collector P Narahari ordered a magisterial probe of the incident.
