In Madhya Pradesh, three ministers of Shivraj Singh Chouhan government submitted a memorandum to CBI in Bhopal yesterday demanding a criminal case against senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh and two whistle blowers of the Vyapam scam.
Home Minister Bhupendra Singh, Irrigation Minister Narottam Mishra and Cooperative Minister said, Digvijay Singh, Prashant Pandey and Anand Rai tried to malign the Chief Minister’s image by demanding that he be made an accused in the scam.
The ministers said that Digvijay Singh, Anand Rai and Prashant Pandy had given a pen drive with an affidavit to CBI. They had alleged that evidences related to the Vyapam case were tempered with to save the chief minister.
According to media reports, the CBI said in the Supreme Court recently that the pen drive was not tempered with. Now these ministers have demanded action against Digvijay Singh and others.
On the other hand, Digvijay Singh in a tweet said that he will continue his fight against corruption and for all those who have been duped by Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP leaders and brokers.
