Lord Vishwakarma revered as harbinger of creation and dignity of labour: CM Sai

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Wednesday offered prayers to Lord Vishwakarma at his official residence in Raipur to mark Vishwakarma Jayanti. The rituals were performed with full traditional rites.

Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smt. Annapurna Devi, Chhattisgarh’s Minister for Women and Child Development Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, and Chairperson of the Chhattisgarh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights Smt. Varnika Sharma were present on the occasion.

Extending his greetings to the people, the Chief Minister described Lord Vishwakarma as the celestial architect signifying innovation and skill. “The labourers of Chhattisgarh are the real pillars of the state’s progress and development. The credit for establishing the dignity of labour and the spirit of creation in society goes to Lord Vishwakarma,” Shri Sai said.

He further observed that Vishwakarma Jayanti is an occasion that inspires every individual to work with sincerity and dedication. “Lord Vishwakarma’s technical skill and tireless spirit remain a source of inspiration for all of us,” the Chief Minister added.
