Deadlifts, a workout which usually known to produce strong athletes and trigger mindset of competing with self but when the competition is official, it doubles adrenaline rush and also turns up heat in the arena. The situation with intense excitement, competitive approach and great enthusiasm was today witnessed in Chhattisgarh’s Raipur-based Ocean Fitness.
“Ocean Ftiness today hosted deadlift competition. As many as 12 athletes participated in the competition,” said co-owner of Ocean Fitness and certified fitness expert Akashdeep Sharma, elaborating that such competitions pushes limits and provide a platform to athletes and also develop competitive approach among inmates in the gym.
Akash further informed that by lifting 220 Kg, Gurpreet Singh Manchanda wins the competition while second place was clinched by Mohit Sachdev by lifting 190 Kg. Third place was held by Wasim Akram by lifting 165 Kg. Ocean Fitness will continue to host similar competitions in future as well.
