Ahmedabad will host biggest ever International Yoga Day event on the 21st of June, this was announced by Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev in Ahmedabad yesterday evening. He said about 5 lakh people will be participate in the event. He said while Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will inaugurate the event on the first day, BJP president Amit Shah will remain present at the concluding ceremony.
Baba Ramdev said that this will be a non-political programme in partnership with Gujarat government which will also involve various social organizations. He said Patanjali will start 11 lakh Yoga classes across the country in coming days. GMDC ground and AES ground of Ahmedabad will jointly host the event.
