Late Dilip Singh Judeo will always be remembered for his kindness: CM Sai

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the ‘Sanskriti Gaurav Mahasammelan Evam Abhinandan Samaharoh’ organised in Kilkila village, Pathalgaon tehsil, marking the death anniversary of former Union Minister Shri Dilip Singh Judeo Ji on Wednesday. In his address, Chief Minister Shri Sai paid tribute to the late Shri Judeo, whom he regarded as his political mentor, having worked closely with him for over 25 years. He fondly remembered Shri Judeo as a warm and simple-hearted person, known for his remarkable memory.

Chief Minister Shri Sai highlighted his government’s commitment to fulfilling Shri Modi’s guarantees. He stated that farmers are now receiving Rs. 3,100 per quintal for paddy and that women in Chhattisgarh are benefiting from the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, which provides Rs. 1,000 per month. He also mentioned the increase in remuneration for tendupatta collectors from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 5,500 per standard bag.

MP Shri Brijmohan Agrawal also spoke at the event, reflecting on the influence of Shri Dilip Singh Judeo in his political journey. He praised Shri Judeo as a great leader, a man of action, and a warrior, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to have worked with him. MLA Smt. Gomati Sai and Babhruvahan Ji Maharaj, the ‘Pujari’ of Gahira Guru Ashram, also addressed the gathering.

Chief Minister Shri Sai made several announcements during the program. These include upgrading the Pathalgaon Nagar Panchayat into a municipality. the construction of a large statue of the late Shri Dilip Singh Judeo in Pathalgaon, an annual grand celebration of his birth anniversary, development of the Kilkileshwar Mahadev premises with an entrance gate, boundary wall, beautification, solar lighting, and upgrading of the cow shelter. He also announced the construction of ghats and beautification of the anicut on the Mand River, the development of 3 kilometres of roads leading to Raigarh, Jashpur, and Ambikapur from Pathalgaon’s main square, the construction of a modern bus stand and auditorium in Pathalgaon, upgrading of the rest house, and upgrading Nagar Panchayat Kotba PSC to CSC.

MP Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, MP Shri Radheshyam Rathia, MLAs Smt Gomati Sai and Smt Raimuni Bhagat, and the chief priest of Kilkiladham, Shri Shri 1008 Shri Swami Kapildas Ji Maharaj, Shri Krishna Kumar Rai, Shri Prabal Pratap Singh Judeo, Shri Sunil Gupta, Commissioner Shri G.R. Churendra, IG Shri Ankit Garg, Collector Dr. Ravi Mittal, SP Shri Shashimohan Singh, along with local public representatives and a large number of people were present.
