Journalist Mukesh Chandrakar Murder Case: No Mercy for the Guilty: CM Sai

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has strongly condemned the brutal murder of Bijapur-based journalist Mukesh Chandrakar, stating that no one involved in this heinous crime will be spared.

Considering the seriousness of the case, Chief Minister Sai has formed an 11-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police IPS Mayank Gurjar. A forensic team is investigating the incident based on scientific and technical evidence. So far, three accused have been arrested, and their illegal constructions have been demolished.

The Chief Minister emphasized that strict punishment will be ensured for the accused to prevent the recurrence of such incidents. He reiterated the government’s firm stance against criminals and its commitment to ensuring the safety of journalists.

Sai further stated that maintaining law and order in the state remains the government’s top priority. Highlighting journalism as the fourth pillar of democracy, the Chief Minister affirmed that ensuring the freedom and safety of journalists is the government’s responsibility.
