US has said, it is considering all options to tackle the threat posed by North Korea’s repeated nuclear arms tests. A senior White House official said, the time is running out and all options are on the table.
The comments came after Pyongyang test-fired a medium-range ballistic missile from its eastern port of Sinpo into the Sea of Japan today. The test came ahead of tomorrow’s first summit between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Florida.
The testing of nuclear weapons by North Korea is expected to figure prominently in the talks between the two leaders.
Pyongyang is banned from any missile or nuclear tests by the United Nations, though it has repeatedly broken those sanctions.
