Addressing the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industries in Kolkata, Mr Juster said, the United States is keen to enhance the inter-operability of forces with India as major defence partners in the Indo-Pacific region.

The ambassador said the export of cross-border terrorism by Pakistan is a concern for the US as well, adding that America has zero tolerance towards cross-border terrorism. Stressing the importance of the economic relationship between India and the US, Mr Juster said, there is ample scope for increasing the bilateral trade.
