The Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama is scheduled to visit Assam in the first week of April. The banned militant outfit United Liberation Front of Asom ULFA-I, has issued a warning to the Dalai Lama asking him not to speak about China during his visit.

It is believed that ULFA leader Paresh Barua is hiding in China. The Dalai Lama will be on a tour of Assam from where he will be going to Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, from April 1 to 7.

China has already expressed its reservations about the visit, which India has rejected.
