Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has condemned a decision by US authorities to issue arrest warrants for 12 members of his security detail. They have been accused of assaulting protesters during a brawl in Washington. Erdogan said in a speech in Ankara yesterday that he will fight politically and judicially against the warrants.
He accused US police of allowing what he called “terrorists” to demonstrate against him when he visited the White House last month.
