In Nigeria, 28 people have been killed and 82 injured in three simultaneous suicide attackers in the town of Mandarari. The attack is reportedly carried out by suspected Boko Haram extremists in northeastern village of Mandarari.
Three women suicide bombers entered the market last evening posing as buyers, then went to the nearby camp for people displaced by Nigeria’s conflict and simultaneously blew themselves up.
The injured have been rushed to the hospital in Maiduguri. Boko Haram has reportedly killed more than 20,000 people and displaced more than 2.6 million people so far in its eight-year insurgency.
