
Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena will reach New Delhi tomorrow on a two -day official visit to India. Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry said that President Sirisena visit is at the joint invitation of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and French President Emanuel Macron to participate at the First Conference of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Founding Members, being held in New Delhi.
Mr Sirisena will also have meetings with President Ramnath Kovind and Prime minister Narendra Modi to discuss bilateral issues. A host of issues including strengthening of economic ties between two countries will come up for discussion during the meeting.
Following his visit to India, the Sri Lankan President will undertake a State visit to Japan from 12 to 17 March.
