US Federal Bureau of Investigation(FBI) Director, James Comey, has said, Russia presents greatest threat to American national security. He said this in response to a question during his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
He said, given their intention and their capability, Russia presents the greatest threat of any nation on earth. Comey said in response to another question that Russia actively provides safe haven to cyber criminals.
He said in the last presidential elections, the Russians were not able to change the actual vote tally. However, he said, FBI believes that the Russians did the hacking of the Democratic party and other organisations’ servers.
