Roadside bomb kills 7 civilians in northern Faryab province

In Afghanistan, seven people were killed when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb in the northern Faryab province today.

Police spokesman Karim Yuresh said, another civilian was injured in the attack, in an area where the Taliban and an Islamic State affiliate are active.

Earlier, a car bomb killed two people and injured another three in the eastern Paktia province last evening. The Taliban claimed the attack.
