Pakistan apprehends over 100 Indian fishermen off Gujarat coast

Pakistan has allegedly apprehended over 100 fishermen and seized around 18 boats, off Gujarat coast yesterday.

As per information received, the fishermen were apprehended by Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, near the international maritime boundary line, off Jakhau coast in Kutch region.

A functionary of the National Fishworkers’ Forum said, they got the information from escaped fishermen. The functionary said, his outfit is trying to establish contact with the Pakistani agencies on the exact number of fishermen in their custody.
