India today clarified that there is no change in its policy towards the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Gopal Baglay said this in response to a question on whether the visit of the Dalai Lama to Arunachal Pradesh signal a change in Indian policy on Tibet or on the boundary negotiation.

Mr Baglay also said, similarly India’s approach to seeking a fair, reasonable and mutually acceptable solution to the boundary question remains unchanged.
