Japanese PM urges North Korea to abandon its nuclear, missile development

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has urged North Korea to comply with UN resolutions and abandon its nuclear and missile development. Addressing the Japanese Parliament, he said he would exchange views on North Korea with Russian President Vladimir Putin in a summit meeting later this month.

Meanwhile, US Vice President Mike Pence visited a military base in South Korea near border with North Korea today.
