Israel has welcomed United States’ decision to withdraw from the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).
In a statement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, for years, the Council has proven to be a biased, hostile and anti-Israel organisation that has betrayed its mission of protecting human rights.
US had yesterday announced its withdrawal from the UNHRC alleging hypocrisy of its members and bias against Israel.
