As many as 10 people were killed when a fire broke at training ground of Flamengo football club, in Rio de Janeiro of Brazil. Three people were also injured in the fire.
As per information received, preliminary information indicates there were young players and staff amongst the dead.
According to media reports, witnesses alleged that the fire started in the air conditioning system. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the blaze.
Flamengo is one of Brazil’s biggest and best-known clubs internationally.
