Academic experts see growing importance to India in G-20. Jan (Yaan) Strese who is working with the South Asian Studies at the Hamburg University says India is going to be one of the major global players especially in the wake of merging powers in the East.
Stating that India is the third largest economy of the world, he said India is going to play greater role in G20 in the days to come due to its concerns on issues like climate change and economic reforms.
