In Venezuela, 68 people were killed in a fire at a police detention facility in the central city of Valencia. Authorities said dozens of people were feared dead after rioting and a fire in the cells of a Venezuelan police station in Carabobo state.
Chief State Prosecutor Tarek Saab said on Twitter yesterday that an investigation into incident has been ordered. Venezuelan prisons are notoriously overcrowded and filled with weapons and drugs.
