At least 20 people were killed when a passenger boat collided with a river barge in western Myanmar.
27 people have been rescued, while rescuers were looking for about a dozen missing survivors.
A local government official told Reuters that the boat carrying about 60 passengers sank shortly after the collision last evening in a river near Pathein, a port city west of Yangon. The boat was filled with guests returning from a wedding.
The port authorities are looking into the cause of the crash.
