Floods in northern Vietnam resulted in death toll mounting to 26 people and which washed away hundreds of homes over the past week, causing damage estimated at more than 41 million dollars. This was informed by the government’s disaster agency today.Fifteen people were still missing and the search had been hampered by damage to roads from floods and landslides. Flooding has affecting four provinces, damaging water systems and farms, where rice and fruit are grown. the Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control said in the report that roads, water systems and other infrastructure are being repaired to make sure people can resettle
