In South Africa, two persons were killed in a stampede when football fans tried to push through the gates at a stadium in Johannesburg. The incident took place at a pre-season local derby between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, the country’s most popular teams, both from Soweto. Confirming the deaths, Police spokesperson said, they have launched investigations into the incident.
