Evacuation of stranded Kailash Mansarovar pilgrims likely to be completed today

In Nepal, evacuation of stranded Kailash Mansarovar pilgrims has been completed. The remaining 160 pilgrims were airlifted from Simikot and Hilsa today.

In a massive exercise undertaken by the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu, over 1400 pilgrims were evacuated from Simikot in last five days. These pilgrims were stranded in Simikot, Hilsa and Tibet side due to bad weather.

Meanwhile, situation is back to normal and Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via Nepal is underway smoothly.
