UP govt to cancel registration of Government doctors involved in private practice

Uttar Pradesh government has issued instructions to cancel the registration of Government doctors if they are found involved in a private practice.

Complaints of private practice by government doctors were being received despite strict instructions of the government. Principal Secretary, Health Prashant Trivedi instructed all Commissioners and District Magistrates that registration of any doctor should be cancelled if he was found involved in a private practice.

License of any nursing home will also be canceled, if any Provincial Medical Service doctor practices in it. Fines will also be imposed on concerned doctors.
