
Gall Bladder stones is a common problem that is seen in around 3 to 5 percent people in the country. Gall stones may sometimes remain asymptomatic. It may present any symptoms:
Pain in upper part of abdomen especially on the right side
Associated with vomiting
Fever
Jaundice

If the stone passes out of the gall bladder into the bile duct, it may obstruct the flow of bile from liver.
It may cause obstructive jaundice. In such case, person must consult the doctor immediately. It requires investigations and treatment.
In case of pain and other symptoms, gall badder is to be removed.

Gall bladder can be removed by surgery. It is called cholecystectomy.
