
Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu has said, Central government is planning to start one medical college in every district of the country to overcome the scarcity of medical professionals and doctors.
Speaking at a function in Venkatachalam mandal of Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh today, he said, Centre is working towards providing better medical care to all the people of the country. He said, the Union government is enhancing its budgetary allocation to medical care. The Minister also gave a call for private sector’s participation in providing better medical and healthcare services across the country.
Later, addressing the party cadres in the BJP office in Nellore, Mr. Naidu said, the cadre should work in unison to strengthen the presence of the party in the State. He asked them to take the Centre’s welfare schemes to the people by creating necessary awareness among them.
